Mr. Evans leads StrategyOne, the full-service market research company owned by Edelman, the world’s largest independent PR firm.  StrategyOne has a team of 28 primary and secondary researchers in New York, Washington D.C., Chicago, L.A. and London providing clients with research insights and communications counsel. 

Measuring results is imbedded in StrategyOne work through actionable stakeholder research, relationship tracking, media analytics and PR media return.

Mr. Evans led the research behind Edelman's 2007 Global Trust Barometer, an extensive global study on trust and reputation across 18 countries and 13 industries. 

For StrategyOne, Mr. Evans has provided research insights on reputation, relationships and brands to companies such as Astra-Zeneca, Wal-Mart, Unilever, Shell, Duke University, and Wrigley.  He has advised the National Association of Manufacturers on messaging strategies. 

Mr. Evans has advised many Fortune 500 companies on corporate reputation, stakeholder relationship measurement, brand tracking, competitive positioning and thought leadership as well as consumer, B2B, technology and retail research.

Prior to joining StrategyOne in 2006, Mr. Evans was a Senior Vice President with research firm Penn, Schoen & Berland Associates in New York.  His clients included KPMG, Shell, Siemens, Nokia, Hewlett-Packard, Aramark, and Pitney Bowes.   

Prior to joining Penn, Schoen & Berland in 2000, Mr. Evans spent 19 years at Caltex Corporation, where he held several international GM positions, involving country responsibility for advertising, public relations and new product development.

Mr. Evans was General Manager of Strategic Asset Management for Southeast Asia, Southern Africa and New Zealand, where he oversaw a $ 1.6 billion portfolio of marketing assets across 9 countries.

Mr. Evans holds a Master of Business Administration from the London Business School and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand.
