Pet Health and Wellness Company Reputation Audit
Challenge
A leader in the pet health and wellness industry contracted StrategyOne to conduct an audit in order to benchmark its corporate reputation among key stakeholder groups. The ongoing purpose of the study is to track reputation shifts over time.
Research
The research was composed of an in-depth analysis amongst five internal and external key stakeholder audiences. A survey was composed for each audience and a full analysis was provided comparing key implications from each.
Insight
The data collected revealed that audience perceptions of the brand varied-and that the brand’s strongest reputation perceptions were held by its internal audiences. By analyzing reputation metrics, StrategyOne discovered that the pet health and wellness company needed to engage stakeholders with the brand’s story, as well as address the emotional and functional needs of pet owners and their pets.
Action
The results of this study will be used to strategically inform an evidence-based corporate reputation communications campaign for the company moving forward. The insights provided by StrategyOne will guide corporate messaging and engagement strategies. The company realizes the importance of measurement and intends to continue to track their reputation on an annual basis.
